[YOUR STORE NAME] Shipping Policy
Last Updated: July 3, 2026
Thank you for shopping with us! This policy outlines our shipping procedures, delivery timelines, and terms of service. By placing an order with our store, you explicitly agree to these conditions.
1. Delivery Partners & Destinations
We fulfill and ship all of our domestic orders exclusively via the Aramex Store-to-Door courier service.
- Coverage: We deliver to residential and business addresses nationwide across South Africa. Shipping rates are calculated automatically and displayed clearly at checkout before you complete your payment.
- P.O. Boxes & PostNet Suites: Because Aramex Store-to-Door delivers straight to a physical doorstep and requires a signature, we cannot ship to P.O. Boxes, private bags, or postal addresses. A valid physical residential or business street address must be provided at checkout.
2. Processing & Delivery Timeframes
- Order Processing: All orders are packaged and processed within [Insert Number, e.g., 1–3] business days. Orders are not processed, dropped off, or shipped over weekends or on South African public holidays.
- Estimated Shipping Times: Once your package is handed over and dropped into the Aramex system, delivery to your door will take between 8 to 11 business days.
- Delays: Delivery timeframes are estimates. Peak holiday seasons (such as Black Friday or Christmas) or unexpected courier operational challenges may occasionally extend transit times.
3. Tracking Your Order
As soon as your package is dispatched, we will email you an automated shipping confirmation. This email will contain your dedicated Aramex waybill tracking number and a direct link to track your parcel live on the Aramex Store-to-Door Tracking Portal. Please note it can take up to 24 hours for the tracking status to update initially.
4. Delivery Protocol & Unattended Parcels
- A physical signature is strictly required upon delivery. Anyone present at the provided delivery address who signs for the package will be accepted by the courier as authorized to receive it.
- If no one is available to receive the parcel, Aramex will attempt a re-delivery or contact you directly using the details provided at checkout.
- If a parcel is returned to our warehouse because the customer provided an incorrect address or was repeatedly unreachable, the customer will be held liable for paying the additional Aramex fees to re-send the order.
5. IMPORTANT: Transit Risk, Damaged & Missing Parcels
- Transfer of Legal Risk: In compliance with South African e-commerce laws, the legal risk of product loss, damage, theft, or tampering passes entirely to you (the consumer) the moment the package is securely handed over to Aramex.
- No Store Liability: [Your Store Name] is not financially liable for any parcels that are opened, damaged, delayed, stolen, or lost while in the custody of the courier.
- Optional Shipping Insurance: To secure your investment, we highly recommend selecting Optional Shipping Protection / Insurance during checkout. By opting out or unticking shipping protection, you accept full responsibility for any uninsured transit losses.
- Filing Claims: Should an issue arise during transit, we will gladly supply you with your official waybill details and drop-off documentation so you can log a formal claim directly with Aramex support.
